Loving mother of Steve (Patti) Bergmann and Debbie Rupnow. Proud grandmother of Jenny (Matt) Wolf, Jason (Heather) Bergmann, Josh (Kelsey) Rupnow, Calvin Rupnow (fiancée Molly Heck), and Shawn (Ashley) Rupnow. Cherished great-grandmother of Kyla Wolf, Ava Bergmann, Evie Bergmann, and Kalla Rupnow, and joyfully awaiting the arrival of two great-grandsons due this summer. Dear sister of the late Richard (Bonnie) Burns and sister-in-law of the late Robert (Marilyn) Bergmann, and Donald (the late Corinne) Bergmann. Beverly will further remembered by 12 nieces and nephews, their spouses and families, and many dear and cherished friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Viola (nee Branton) Burns and her step-parents, Arthur and Marie Neilson.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Beverly built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She and Melvin were married and raised their family in Milwaukee before moving to Mequon in 1989, where they built a beautiful home and spent many happy years. In January of this year, they moved to Jackson.

She and Mel shared a love of camping and traveling, taking trips throughout Wisconsin as well as to Florida and California to visit family. They also enjoyed traveling abroad, visiting China and Germany.

Beverly worked for many years as the head cook at St. Peter Immanuel in Milwaukee, where she was fondly known as the “lunch lady” to many. Her faith was central to her life. At St. Peter Immanuel and later at Trinity Lutheran Freistadt in Mequon, she was actively involved in bible studies, church committees, and numerous church activities. She and Melvin dedicated countless hours volunteering for their churches, the Milwaukee Blood Center, and Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Mequon.

She treasured the friendships she made over the years through bowling and card playing, which brought her much joy and laughter. She was also a woman of many talents, enjoying sewing, crocheting, quilting, and creating beautiful cross-stitch pieces. She spent many happy hours painting ceramics alongside her sister-in-law Marilyn and niece Karen.

Above all, Beverly will be remembered for her loving heart, strong faith, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, at TRINITY LUTHERAN FREISTADT CHURCH, 10729 W. Freistadt Rd., Mequon, from 10-11:45 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church or to a charity close to your heart would be appreciated.

Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Mequon.

She was born July 16, 1945, in Reedley, California.

Anna lived a life guided by her Christian faith, expressed through service, generosity and care for others.

She delighted in language and literature. Friends and family remember her reading poetry aloud and sometimes even reading the dictionary the way others read a novel—page by page, enjoying the discovery of new words and meanings. Her love of language was matched by a quick wit and a readiness to laugh, especially at herself.

Music was always part of the rhythm of her life. She loved everything from gospel to rock ’n’ roll, and the songs she played often became part of the soundtrack of family life.

Anna loved travel and the adventure of experiencing new cultures and languages—and cooking authentic French soufflés that wowed guests near and far.

For two years in Paris, she relished exploring a lifelong interest in European and French history and art. She also delighted in the quirks of language and the small mispronunciations that could turn into wonderful jokes—such as proudly telling people she was walking her “chain,” a mistaken pronunciation of the French word chien for dog.

Her appreciation for the arts was lifelong. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Museum of Wisconsin Art and the Milwaukee Art Museum. She was also an artist herself. Her oil still life “Persimmons” was the People’s Choice Award winner at the 2025 Members’ Show at MOWA.

Service to others was central to Anna’s life. Guided by her faith and compassion, she volunteered widely and generously. She participated in mission trips to the Gulf Coast for several years following Hurricane Katrina, helped fill and distribute backpacks for students in need for The Salvation Army, tutored students at local schools, supported the Waukesha County Food Pantry and contributed to many other community efforts. She believed deeply in caring for neighbors and putting love into action.

Anna was a breast cancer survivor and an aortic valve-replacement recipient, and she met those challenges with resilience, courage and grace.

Anna was preceded in death by her dear siblings, Sarah Elizabeth Townsend and James David Carl, and her parents, John Franklin Carl and Mildred Carmen Clem Carl. She is survived by her devoted husband of more than 60 years, Donald Howard French; her sons Gregory Allen French and Douglas Matthew French; Greg’s spouse Kenneth G. Karol; daughter-in-law Melissa Lee Flynn, with whom she happily spent time throwing pottery; and her beloved grandson Connor Flynn French, the joy of her later years.

Anna will always be cherished for her warmth, curiosity, humor and generosity of spirit. Above all, she lived by a simple but powerful value: love.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, at ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 300 Carroll St., Waukesha, from 9:30-10:45 AM, followed by the service at 11 AM.

Private interment at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, the Museum of Wisconsin Art and St. Luke’s Church, Waukesha.

Barbara "Barb" Blasezyk

<img src="https://d1q40j6jx1d8h6.cloudfront.net/Obituaries/47740976/Thumbnail.webp" alt="Barbara "Barb" Blasezyk" />

Barbara Ann Blasezyk, affectionately known as Barb to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on the 13th of March 2026, in her hometown of Milwaukee, where she was also born on the 12th of January 1937. Barb's life was a testament to her loving, generous, and selfless nature—a beacon of warmth and care that illuminated the lives of all who knew her.

Barb's journey began as a proud graduate of Solomon Juneau High School, where she laid the foundation for a life rich in knowledge and compassion. Her education was not just academic; it was a lifelong pursuit of wisdom and understanding, which she shared generously with her family and friends.

The early chapters of Barb's life were filled with adventure and love as she and her beloved husband, John, who preceded her in death, set up their home in Europe while John served in the army. They lived in France, embracing the culture and experiences that shaped their early years together. Upon returning to Milwaukee, Barb dedicated herself to raising their five children—Cheryl, David, Catherine, John, and Peter. She was a wonderful and loving mother, nurturing her family with a gentle hand and a strong heart.

Barb's Christian faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through the trials and triumphs of life. Her spirituality was a source of comfort and strength to her and to those around her, and it was reflected in the way she lived her life every day.

Her interests were as vibrant and varied as her personality. Barb had a passion for the arts, whether it was laughing along with the slapstick humor of the Three Stooges, swaying to the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley, or admiring the on-screen performances of Patrick Swayze. She was a cinephile who cherished her movie nights and never turned down a good game show, always ready with the right answer and a smile.

Barb's hands were rarely still, for she was a talented quilter who crafted many beautiful quilts and blankets for her family. Her knitting skills were equally impressive, as she created cozy slippers that warmed the feet and hearts of her loved ones. Her creativity and love were stitched into every piece she made.

The thrill of the game was something Barb enjoyed, whether it was cheering on her beloved Brewers, Packers, and Bucks, or trying her luck at the casino. Her spirit was one of joy and excitement, always up for an adventure, whether it was a visit to the wineries, a leisurely lunch out, or simply spending summers at her cottage, surrounded by the laughter of her family.

Barb's love for her little dog, Rosie, was yet another facet of her caring nature. Rosie was not just a pet but a cherished companion who brought endless joy to Barb's life.

Barb leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her children Cheryl, David, Catherine, John, and Peter, as well as her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who will carry on her spirit of generosity and kindness.

Barbara Ann Blasezyk's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, dedication, and joy. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with this remarkable woman. Her memory will live on, inspiring those she leaves behind to embrace life with the same fervor and love that she did every single day.

Visitation will take place on Friday March 27th from 11:00 AM unit time of Service at 1:00 PM.
Charlotte Larson

Charlotte L. Larson, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away on March 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have felt her embrace. Born on February 15, 1943, Charlotte's journey through life was marked by a steadfast devotion to her family, a passion for creativity, and a heart that overflowed with thoughtfulness for everyone she met.

Charlotte was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven by her loving parents Arthur and Arvilla Miller and her grandson Randy Larson.

As a mother, Charlotte was nothing short of extraordinary. Her sons, Robert (Moose) Larson and Ron (Lois) Larson, were the apples of her eye, and she raised them with a blend of gentle guidance and unwavering support. Her love only multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Randy Larson--her welcoming angel, Nichole (Ryan) Larson and Stephanie (Kyle) Roberts, for whom she was not only a grandmother but also a confidant, mentor, and cheerleader. The birth of her great-grandchild, Henry Seefeldt, brought her the esteemed title of "GG," a role she embraced with every fiber of her being.

Charlotte was a true friend, always willing to offer love and support in any way that she could to help lighten the burden of others. She cherished her friendships and her relationship with Jim Woods, whose companionship brought her immeasurable joy and comfort. She treasured her family above all else and was known for her heartfelt ‘Midwest goodbyes’ often saying, “love you bunches & love you more.”

Her interests were a reflection of her vibrant spirit. Charlotte was an artist at heart, her hands skillful in the delicate craft of painting ceramics. She found solace and satisfaction in every stroke of the brush, immortalizing her perspective of beauty onto each piece she touched. A master of the card table, she relished the camaraderie and friendly competition that came with a good game of cards or cribbage, always ready to share a laugh and create memories with her friends.

To know Charlotte was to know the true meaning of love, to witness generosity in its purest form, and to understand what it means to be thoughtful to the core. Her light will continue to shine brightly through the lives of those she touched, and her spirit will live on, guiding us to be the best versions of ourselves.

As we celebrate the remarkable life of Charlotte L. Larson, let us carry her legacy forward by living each day with the same loving intent and generous spirit that she embodied. Let us paint the canvas of our lives with bright colors of joy and kindness, just as she did, creating a masterpiece that would make her proud. Her journey on earth may have concluded, but her influence remains, a timeless treasure that will continue to inspire generations to come.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff of Angel’s Grace Hospice for their care and dedication to honoring Charlotte in her final days. You all showed so much respect, compassion, and truly went above and beyond, which helped give us all an immeasurable amount of relief and peace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the Chapel of the Flowers at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W.
Thomas Wolf

Thomas F. Wolf was born into eternal life on March 10, 2026, at the age of 95. He was joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Dolores, whom he loved deeply and missed dearly.

Tom was a devoted and proud father to Bob (Julie), Geri Jewell (Len), Chris (Teresa), Tom (Heidi), and Karen Klemeneic (Bob). Nothing brought him greater joy than his role as Grandpa and Papa to his grandchildren: Christine (Ben), Jessica (Garrett), Justin (Hailey), Katelyn, Emily, Alex (Emily), Brian, Caroline (Tom), Matt (Jacky), and Josh. He was also a loving great-grandfather to Stella, Lucy, Nora, Ezra, Nash, Axel, Neli, Vivien, Diesel, and Ripley, delighting in each new addition to the family.

Tom cherished his close relationships with his in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, and the many friends he made and kept throughout his life. Time spent with those he loved was always time well spent.

A devout Catholic, Tom faithfully served his parish communities at St. Alphonsus in Greendale and St. Teresa of Calcutta in Hartland. Over the years, he generously gave his time as a lector, server, usher, Eucharistic minister, and sacristan—roles he fulfilled with humility, dedication, and deep faith.

Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class and serving in Korea. With his characteristic humor, he often joked that the only reason he enlisted was because the Army needed a basketball, football, and baseball player.

Professionally, Tom made a lasting impact during his 33-year career with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. Beginning as a temporary Engineer Aide I, his determination, intelligence, and strong work ethic propelled him through the ranks to Executive Director, Director of District Services, and ultimately Director of Technical Services, from which he retired in 1988. He was a Professional Engineer, a member of the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers, and a proud inductee of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. Most meaningful to Tom were the people he met and worked with throughout his career—relationships he valued deeply and maintained long after retirement. He especially treasured the camaraderie of the “Old Farts Club,” a social group of retired Milwaukee engineers, where stories, laughter, and lifelong friendships continued to flourish.

Before his engineering career, Tom worked as a caddie, sparking a lifelong love of golf. He truly savored every round and could recall shots from courses played decades earlier. Tom also loved playing cards with family and friends and was always eager to join in, whether it

was Sheepshead, Hearts, Cribbage, Pinochle, Poker, or Bridge. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid reader, and could never resist a good mystery or suspense novel.

A passionate Marquette alumnus, Tom was deeply grateful to have graduated from Marquette University High School and Marquette University. He remained a devoted fan throughout his life and was always eagerly anticipating the next game.

Tom and Dolores shared a love of travel, exploring much of Europe, most of the United States, and parts of Canada together. After her passing, Tom continued to travel, often combining golfing vacations with visits to family.

Tom leaves behind a remarkable legacy of strong work ethic, discipline, perseverance, dedication, compassion, and kindness. He truly lived his life fully and generously.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff of Aurora Hospice at Home for their compassionate care, with special thanks to Samantha for her kindness and dedication.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of Calcutta – Monches, W302 N9583 O’Neil Road, Hartland, WI, on Wednesday, March 25, at 11:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local food shelf or pantry.

Private family interment will take place at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha, WI 53188.

Church & Chapel Funeral Service Serving the Family

Milw. 262-827-0659 Wauk. 262-549-0659

Online Obit, Condolences, Directions

www.churchandchapel.com

In the end, her very kind heart couldn’t go on.

Carole was the loving mother to Joel (Susan), Jeffrey (Bobbi) and Claudia (David) Beck. She was also the very proud grandmother of Megan (Paul) Gertz, Scott (Sami) Giesie, Michael Giesie, Maile Beck, Brady Beck and her great grandson Owen Giesie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Hazel (Peters) Hey, and sister Judy Giles. Carole will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Carole will always be remembered as a Waukesha girl at heart. She was born in Waukesha and loved to talk about the fun she had growing up with loving parents and all her best friends. She married Joseph Giesie in 1962. Upon starting a family, Joseph and Carole ran the successful Waukesha business of Bob’s Glass Service. Carole stayed home doing the bookwork while raising her children at the same time. Their lifelong Waukesha High School friends and neighbors shared many, many good times together throughout the years. In retirement, Carole and Joseph retired to Northern Wisconsin. They built a beautiful home where family and friends were always welcome. Carole created a welcoming home where there was plenty of food, fun and laughter to be had.

Carole loved to entertain where she could show off her tremendous cooking skills. Everyone loved to have a meal prepared by Carole. Many of her recipes have been shared around the country and are treasured by family and friends. Family and friends also knew that Carole expected cocktail hour to begin promptly at 5:00 P.M. Carole was also known as a world class shopper…Brookfield Square and Mayfair Mall were her stomping grounds. Her loving children and grandchildren were the primary benefactors.

A private interment will be held for Carole, and she will be laid to rest, along with her husband Joseph, at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. A Celebration of Life will be held, at a future date, and will be announced by the family.

Church & Chapel Funeral Service Serving the Family

Milw. 262-827-0659 Wauk. 262-549-0659

Online Obit, Condolences, Directions

www.churchandchapel.com
